Le Petite Project: Mon Ami & CW block 5

Here is my Le Petite Project for this month "Mon Ami" Schnibble pattern.  The charm squares are "Nantucket" by Minik & Simpson for Moda.
I decided not to add the plain border because I like this finished size for a wallhanging.

If I get this quilted, I'll be all set for the 4th of July this summer.
Not much else done on the sewing front this weekend.  I didn't feel well so I saw the sofa more than the sewing machine.  I did make the Civil War block for this week called "Kansas Troubles"
Hopefully I'll have a less busy week this week and I'll get caught up on some things.

I haven't found anybody else who's so far ahead on July 4th plans. Well done! Your C. War block looks great. I'm already 2 weeks behind.

You made a comment somewhere (Karen's sew primitive blog?) looking for recommendations for Transfer-Eze. I don't personally do embroidery, but I have half a dozen friends who do. They love Transfer-Eze so much that they've investigated till they found mass-quantity packets of it to share (30 sheets per pkg?). I also found a review online you may want to read at http://zuill.us/andreablog/2010/01/29/transfer-eze-a-new-product-for-embroiderers/.
She commented on the one thing my friends have mentioned. Sometimes after stitching and then washing away the Transfer-Eze, the stitches loosen a bit. But with practice, they felt they had mastered how tightly to stitch.
They Love It!

I saw your Mon Ami on Sherri's blog.....great colors :) I made another Schnibbles pattern with similar colors, Bar Harbor was the name of the line. You left the last border off of your Mon Ami also....I may add an outer border later. I like yours as it is :)
