Trip to the Emergency Vet
Well it's nearing 1 AM and I just got back from the emergency vet. Had to take Gomez there around 10:30 PM. He has a urinary tract blockage but is going to be OK. Luckily, I caught it quickly and it's not as bad as it could be. He has to stay overnight and I have to pick him up in the AM and take him to my regular vet. It is always something here. I need a couple of normal boring days please! More later today.

I'm so glad you got your cat to the vet quickly enough and that he's going to be okay. My lovely old cat Orlando got a similar problem on Christmas Day a few years back, but the vet was brilliant and opened the surgery up for us and on the next day. Sadly, at 18 years old, they just couldn't do anything for him and we had to have him put down. I still miss him, he was the perfect cat.
YIPPPEESS! Glad to hear Gomez is doing okay. Now I suppose you are working both jobs AND nursing and checking on Gomez! You need some rest girlfriend. Well vacation for you is days away!
