Recommendation: We Love French Knots

In case you haven't found this website yet, visit

http://www.welovefrenchknots.com/

for a wonderful series of videos on how to do embroidery stitches.

I have always had problems with French knots.  I will learn how to do it, make one or two then forget again. Although, I may not "love" them yet, Bari J's video really  helped me figure out how to do these (again!) and I went back to a stitchery UFO and added all the French knots.  I also learned how to do a chain stitch and finished some more of this UFO. Only one block left to stitch.  Woo hoo!

Thank you for the link, I've never seen that site. Do you know the story on the needlebook with the little dress on the front? They don't say anything about it. I can never, ever remember on my own how to start the blanket stitch, have to look it up every time (I blame these lapses on being left-handed and having to invert all instructions in my head) but for some reason I've remembered the french knot ever since I learned it.

I'm being very rigid about not watching any videos off the web. Stubborn. It's not my best trait. I miss out on stuff. Shhh. Don't tell. I try to be open to stuff but this one thing has me hanging on like a terrier to his last meal!
