A Detour

I took a detour on the way home from work today.....to Conyers....that's a big detour hee hee! I went to Sweet Home Quilt Co. AKA Bad Melisa's to pick up my "on hold" jelly roll right off the truck
(this is "American Primer" by Moda)

and some new yardage of Moda's "Heritage" line.

Here's the nine-patches I started on Sunday with the "Heritage" jelly roll.
Aren't nine-patches just the sweetest block?
Of course I get home and a couple of hours later Bad Melisa sends an email saying she has MORE new Moda fabric....Bad Bad Melisa!! I think I have enough to keep me busy for this weekend...and beyond.....

Now that's my kind of detour! LOL I'll have to check out that new Moda line. I love 9patches too...my favorite block is the mini 9patch!

What a lucky girl you are to have a wonderful quilt shop...even if you have to make a detour. LOL! Great new jelly roll and I love the Heritage line. YUMMY!

I'm just sitting here drooling. What wonderful fabric, blocks, jelly rolls. Thank God for "Bad Melisa" !

I've taken that kind of detour myself. Well worth the price of the extra gas!

Actually if you are going to Bad Melisa's, it is not a detour. I was there Wed night and again on Saturday. Had to go Sat to see if anything good came in on thrs or fri. You are right....she is an enabler!!!
