Lots of Showers Bring June Flowers

I can't believe how much it has rained here in Georgia this spring. After years of drought, it's really weird to have so many rainy days (not complaining though!!!!! I love it.) My recession garden is doing great and I hope to have some squash and tomatoes soon. I have a huge magnolia tree in the yard and late May and June is when it flowers. The blossoms are huge and smell so lovely.

My hydrangeas are also blooming. This is a French hydrangea.
My lace cap hydrangeas are just starting to bloom and I'll post those soon.

Wow! Absolutely love hydrangeas and magnolia blossoms. Your yard has recovered better than ours. Most of our flowers died last year with the drought. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the lace cap hydrangea. Take care

I loved this rainy spring too, oh it could be like this always in Atlanta and I would be a happy girl. Hate the heat.

I just love the smell of the magnolias..so sweet. I have 2 baby trees and only get a couple of blossoms so far. I too have enjoyed the wet spring..not sure I am ready for the heat but it will come anyway. See you Saturday

Those magnolias look absolutely gorgeous! And the hydrangea is wonderful! Our flowers just got planted over the past 2 days. I guess the threat of frost at night has finally gone!
