I was able to visit with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as my parents and their dog (Princess) Shiloh (the most spoiled dog on the planet), brother and sister-in-law and my nephew-dog Jack.
I also did my part to help the Michigan economy and went on a little quilt shop hop (more in another post).
Returning from a trip is always difficult, you are sad that you are leaving the place you are visiting, you are happy to be in your own house, even happier to see the cats who missed you and let you know how much by meowing and following you around, and then there's all the laundry and getting ready for work and.. and.. and..
What made getting back a little better was a package waiting for me...
My very own super extra special bag made by the fabulous Anne and Chelsea Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs

It sounds like it was a great trip, but coming back is always tough.
That bag was a great gift waiting for you.
What a great bag that is! The fabrics are fabulous!
Sounds like a super trip -- even if the heat did follow you for part of it! :-)
It sure sounds like you had a great trip...what a great win! Love that bag!
Welcome back!!! Can not wait to hear about the shop hop, but that bag is good enough for me to look at right now!!! WOW...it is so beautiful. I know you will treasure it forever.
Welcome Home! What a great bag and yes, best get those cats back in line (or isn't really them getting us back in line?)!
I can't believe you were here and didn't call me so we could meet up. Hope the trip was good!!
Who would have thought it would be that hot in Flint. Guess you just got lucky :-). Looking forward to hearing about your MI Shop Hop.
