Finally...the end of May

If you have been reading my blog this month, you know that I am ready for the end of May. May begone! I am D.O.N.E. with May. Here's to June, may it be a better month. I was just kind of tired and worn out this weekend so I spent most of the weekend sewing. The cats spent most of the weekend napping and helping me sew.
Doesn't Morpheus look comfortable? How spoiled are my cats???!!? Edgar is in the corner watching over the block pieces.

Morpheus relieved Edgar of his guard duty, then promptly fell asleep.

Pat will be happy to know that the new project was not a jelly roll quilt. Look Pat NOT a jelly roll!! These little hourglass blocks are 3" finished. Bitty blocks, Pat, aren't they cute? I need to make 160 of these little blocks.
Hope Edgar and Morph are ready for more guard duty and napping.

I did a lot of sewing and napping this weekend, too. I like your hourglass blocks very much and I believe Karen Dianne would, too.

Word Verification: diclaver which perhaps is the name for the very TIP of the uvula . . . .

Absolutely love the photo of the cats sleeping in the midst of your project :) "And I helped!" You did not tell us the name of your new "not jelly roll" project. We are always very curious! June will be a good month!

Oh my golly gosh how cuteamous! Lured in by the kitties, I think to myself "I'm done for" then to find the most heartwarming little blocks reflective of a quilt I recently finished only oh so more teeny cute. What a smile to start my day with. So happy in the heart!

Morpheus! What a good name for a black cat. They are adorable cats, and so very helpful, too.

I love those little blocks! And your kitty helpers -- well, what's a quilt without kitty helpers?
