I made some homemade cookies to take to Starbucks for the gang. Nothing fancy, just good ol' sugar cookies with quick buttercream. Same recipes I've been using since forever. Yum!

OH Gretchen...I'm dyin here, LOL. "Nothing fancy, just good ol' sugar cookies with quick buttercream." Just happens to be my all time favorite cookie. AND...*hanging head in shame* I'm 62 years old and a damned fine cook if I say so myself. But there are a couple of things I just never could get right and one of them happens to be "Nothing fancy, just good ol' sugar cookies with quick buttercream." (heavy sigh here) I am literally surrounded by junk food cause my hubby was gone for the night and I went nuts with chips, mint M&M's the only ones I like and of course, the leftover banana cream pie we bought as we left the restaurant night before last. OH and I forgot the Werthers in my sewing room. But I would trade everything including my beloved Pepsi Throwback for just one of your cookies, LOL!!! They look so good I'm tempted to lick the screen, hehehe. Happy Valentines Day sweet friend, hugs to you and scratches all around for the furry kids...
I bet the were very well received.
