I'm seriously considering a treadle machine now....
NOTE: I obeyed all safety practices and did not leave candles, fabric, rotary cutter, pins, matches, etc. unattended. Be safe, quilt safe, cats stay safe.

I am humbled by your dedication! We had the same storms come through my part of South Carolina but fortunately we kept our power and didn't lose any big trees.

My first thought was, "Yikes! Keep the fabric and yourself away from the flames!". Sorry, I'm a mom of two boys. I can't control it. Glad you safely got something done despite the lack of electricity. During hurricane season, I like to have a quilt to bind in case of a power outage. It's all about being prepared for trouble! Great job!
