Baking and happy Festivus!

Finally a day off! I did get some sewing time in and made two kinds of cookies.
These are molasses gingerbread cookies rolled in sugar and orange zest. Wonderfully old fashioned and not too sweet. I'm off to have a couple with some English breakfast tea.
Tomorrow starts 7 days in a row at SBux.
And of course a happy Festivus to all.

Gretchen, the cookies look so yummy...I love gingerbread! I also drink English breakfast tea so the idea of you sitting down to a couple of your cookies with a cup of tea had my mouth watering I tell ya, LOL. Oh my gosh, 7 days in a row and I know at SBux you must be on a dead run all the time. At least whenever I stop at a SBux around here, they are running their tails off. Are they closed Christmas day or do you have to work the holiday also? Well, I don't have any cookies but I do have a couple of pumpkin pies made, so I think I'll have a cup of tea and a piece of pie...though I do wish I was eating one of your cookies instead. *wink* Have a Joyous and Blessed Christmas and give all your furry babies a nice rub for me. Big Hugs...OH, and a Happy Festivus to you too, hehehe!!

Oh my, you're working Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day? Hope they give you a special treat for doing that, Gretchen!
