It's the Humidity

This is the kind of weather that makes you ever so thankful for air-conditioning.  Mid-90s and about 2,000% humidity in Atlanta.  Seriously.

OK so checked NOAA and it's 50% humidity.

So I was close.

Anyway---

S. has done a tremendous amount of yard work and outside chores this weekend including washing the siding and making pea gravel paths.  My house and yard look great.  Better than great--amazing!

Saturday, I stayed inside and cleaned house, cooked, and prepped hexies.

Today, I worked at Starbucks, did laundry, made blackberry cobbler, and am sewing binding.

I really would like to say we are tied for the amount of work done this weekend, but I'll admit washing the siding in this humidity is winning.

Sounds like you were both productive this weekend. Me, not so much! Love the fabrics in your hexies.

You both did a lot, but working outside in this humidity S might have you beat.

That's quite a list of jobs achieved despite the conditions. Cute hexies! ann :-)

Ugh...I hate humid weather...hate hate hate it. Staying inside was a good idea.

It was 100 here yesterday and is supposed to be in the low 100's all this week. Know where I'll be? Inside with the air conditioning as God intended...LOL.

That's a lot of work in that kind of heat and humidity! I don't know how you do it!

it is hot here ... too many days in a row with record-breaking temps of 100+ degrees ... everything smells of smoke and ash, and the air is so hot and smoky that it is hard to breathe ...
