Stars in a Time Warp: Weeks 5-11

I finished my next batch of Stars in a Time Warp block of the week.  I am working on several weeks at a time rather than get discouraged by being behind every week and this method seems to be working so far.  Barbara Brackman's weekly post fun reads and a fabulous resource even if you are not making the blocks.

Overdyed Green Solids
I used a couple of different Moda Bella Solids and although it's not quite the correct color, it's as close to it as I had in my stash.

This background is a Jo Morton print and it is one of my favorites.  Wish I bought oodles of it...

Double Pink

Madder-Style Prints

Look there's that Jo Morton print in a different color way!

Indigo Blue
After digging through stash, I discovered that I need more blues. Wonder if I can fix that BAHAHAHA!

Chrome Yellow

I bought a small bundle of poison greens, chrome yellows, and cheddar long ago and it's served me well for this BOW. These fabrics are much brighter in real life than photos.  Guess my iPhone was overwhelmed LOL!

Green Calicos

Purple

I just love purple reproduction fabrics so I used three different purples for each of these blocks.

Thanks for making it all the way to the end of this photo-heavy post!!

Stars in a Time Warp: Weeks 1-4

Barbara Brackman's blocks of the week/month are impossible to resist.  I love the history lessons and seeing all the variations of the blocks.  Even if you don't join in, be sure check out the great photos and history of fabrics through time on her blog every Wednesday.

I am making two blocks of each fabric and sewing several weeks worth at one time seems to work better with my schedule.  These 6" sawtooth star blocks are so much fun.  Let's see if my stash will carry me through to the end of the quilt.  Here are my stars for the first four weeks.

Multi-colored Turkey Red Prints

Prussian Blue

Shirting Prints

Chrome Orange/Cheddar

If you made it all the way to the end, your reward is these cutemous photos of Edgar and Stella.  They were curled up so sweet most of yesterday afternoon in a yin-yang shape and rotated places at some point.

The weekend is almost here.  Hope you have lots of time to sew.
